Curriculum.

Psychic Education : Intrinsically every child has a divine nature which is expressed in a unique manner. To connect to that innate potential the student maintains a self reflective diary ‘Aatmanaam Viddhim’ and posts self reflective observations on a periodic basis. The children are encouraged to find their inner strength. In addition the school allots time to meditate, for spiritual discourses and chanting of shlokas. The programs, clubs and activities are designed to uplift the awareness of students in regard to the great culture and traditions of India. Learning Sanskrit is mandatory for all.

Mental Education: Striving for success must be replaced by striving to self excel and self exceed. To make learning joyous and experiential we have removed exams until grade VII. However, we closely monitor the required skills to face the Board exams. In the middle and lower grades we have project based learning which develops not only cognitive but various other nonacademic skills in students resulting in greater hands on learning. Engaging in debates, elocution, recitation and other communication skills form an intrinsic part of the curriculum. At the Preprimary and Primary levels we provide a lot of physical movement and learning by doing as it is more in sync with their natural rhythm of development. The mode of evaluation of paper pencil tests is replaced by various tools of continuous and comprehensive assessments and appraisals  covering different skills required for learning.

Vital Education : One of the frequent problems that we face is being overwhelmed by emotions and not using reason to face challenges of life. To make the children conscious of their feelings and to find the cause behind them is one of the important learning provided in the school. To mould their character through narration and role play of great leaders in various fields and to refine their aesthetic capabilities by providing music (vocal, table, flute, keyboard ), dance, painting, craft, pottery and carpentry makes part of the Integral development activities of the school.

We also promote Life Skills through activities under Community Service ( Gardening, Hospitality, Resource maintenance and Village Outreach programs) and inculcate a sense of responsibility through Free Choice Activities ( Reading in the library, Creating inventions, Soft Skills and Special Sports). This enables students to exercise choice and be responsible to enjoy while learning the skill selected.

Four Clubs, namely Literary, Environment, Heritage and Care & Share (teaching and engaging with the less privileged) also add to the varied scope of experiential learning at New Creation School beyond the textbooks.

Physical Education:

Sports and games is the high light of our school. Although the grounds are being developed the variety offered is stimulating and exciting to the students as it is mandatory everyday for all students. Football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, athletics, gymnastics, yoga, mallakhamb, cycling (long expeditions), trekking and adventure sports all form part of regular physical training. Students since the past years have won laurels in the district and State level sports. Children are provided the possibility of stretching their limits and in imbibing sportsman spirit.
